Save the Child Initiative commemorated the World Day Against Human Trafficking and Abuse on the 2nd of August, 2017 at the new orange market Mararaba, Nasarawa State in collaboration with NACTAL FCT and other community stake holders
The event featured the following activities;
- Sensitization/Campaign on the dangers of trafficking.
- Mobile help lines were made available to the public and the management of the market for subsequent assistance.
A movie showing how children could be exposed to trafficking and various forms of abuse was aired and interpreted in Hausa language.
